Virginia was studying fashion retailing and marketing in University, with over 7 years working experiences in the style and fashion trend forecasting industry.
Her first job was with Carlin International, a Paris-based trend forecasting bureau, she covered the sales and marketing area for Hong Kong and South of China regions. She had daily face to face meetings with clients to update, explain the early trends info to clients, on the other side, research and understand what do clients need in the real commercial world. Afterwards, she joined WGSN since year 2002 as a Regional Account Manager of Asia Pacific region, she was responsible for the fashion and market trends content delivery, with solid experiences in conducting trend presentations and seminars in both Chinese and English languages.
She loves travelling to explore new ideas, emerging trends and concepts. She travels frequently particularly in Asian cities such as Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok, Taipei, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur... She is very strong in observing global fashion trends and with good sense of Asian consumer lifestyles and behaviors.
Currently, she is studying jewelery design and she is very interested in oil painting and music!.
